Promotion effect at Daily Level

Hello,

I would like to know if I have the promotional forecast at ITEM/STORE/WEEK and then I'm spreading this forecast to day level (ITEM/STORE/DAY), how can I apply the promotion effect only at the day that had promotion ?  What is the best approach to do this ?

Promotion are being marked at ITEM/STORE/DAY, forecast is being generated at ITEM/STORE/WEEK. 


Please let me know if I was clear on my question.
