Is it possible to define asset category in PO

Hi all,
I want to create fixed asset records in the path of PO->AP->FA.
In AP invoice line level, I can enter asset category field manually. Can I define this asset category during PO creation and bring this asset category to AP invoice line automatically once I match the PO to invoice?

If possible, what is the setup required on the PO item category? Is that the PO item category must be the same as the fixed asset category?
