JDE 9.1 Platform Pack and database on different server

Hi All,

I want to install JDE 91. Platform pack and database on different servers so i copied only JDE 9.1 enterprise dvd on apps server without oracle database component dvd and run the setup but during installation it is asking that enter the oracle connect information as per guide it should not ask because i didn't not select the database component options just i selected enterprise environments so why it is asking, can i go ahead to install it?

as per guide for database server i need to copy both enterprise dvd and oracle database component dvd on database server. our oracle database is installed on redhat linux, are same dvds work in linux?
