Datafile size shrink

 Dear experts,
I have a datafile, which is of 10g, 5gb is full and 5gb is free.  I want to shrink the size of this datafile to 5g as it is 5gb full and want to free the space of 5gb.  Can I do this and if yes then how to do.  Will there be any data loss
