how can I hide a purchasing category in iproc using non catalog request?

Create a purchasing category "category Y"

go to iproc admin

unmapped the "Category Y"

go to iproc

go to non catalog request

the category sill exists in the lov of the category

my expectation that "Category Y" will not appear in the LOV

is this standard functionality that all purchasing categories will appear in the non catalog requestr even I have unmapped the category
