Medicare Tax Calculating Incorrectly

in JDEdwards World (MOSC)
Q:  Running the first payroll of 2013 and the medicare tax is calculating at 6% instead of 1.45%.  Why is this happening?

A;  The latest Vertex release is 2.00.20.  Any Vertex release lower than 2.00.20 is incorrectly calculating medicare.  Contact Vertex to upgrade to their latest release.  800-281-1900.
