Can we install OEM12c using an existing oracle database that would be shared or should the DB be ded

should be a quick question/answer.

All my previous installs of OEM have had dedicated databases. I am being asked to install OEM12c for a smaller test environment and use an existing database which also contains some active SOA schemas. Does anyone see any problem doing this? I just wanted to make sure before we go ahead with the installation.
