Journal will not open

After loading a journal, a user will try to open and view the journal in which they receive an error; contact system admin; exceeds limit.  Is there a setting that can be changed to view this journal.  It is quite large, however it seems to load and post automatically.  We just have an issue opening it through the HFM web.
