Date fields Measuring On Time Delivery from Supplier

We are on JDE 8.0

Is there documentation of what drives what between the dates on P4210 sales orders and P4310 purchase orders?  We are trying to also measure on time delivery from our suppliers.  When we receive multiple changes of dates how we measure and what drives the messages in DRP?
