EBS R12.1.3 on Oracle VM Ware

Has anyone worked on EBS R12.1.3 on Oracle VM Ware?  I would like to how easy to clone new instance from Production Instance. I heard people are saying we can save lot of time for creating new instance on VM ware, just Snapshot the VM Ware and create new one, is it that easy , if so what is the difference between rapid clone and Cloning on VM Ware.

  To my knowledge we have to copy the file system from Production to New instance and do rapid clone technology, then finally Post clone Steps.  How different this from EBS Running on VM Ware. What I heard is we can create new instance less than 2 Hours Time is this possible?
