setup difference using label printing

Hi SMEs

What are all need to do if the 3rd party printing soultion enabled as WMS Label Print Mode as “Synchronous – Generic”  or “Synchronous - TCP/IP”.  Is there any stanadrd FTP program is there to place the FTP file in 3rd party directory?  Else do we need to write separate code?
