Questions about 12cR2 emprereqkit

I'm building out a new OMS cluster with 12c Release2. 
I want to manually run emprereqkit for my repository before starting the installation.

1. Where do I point   -prerequisiteXMLLoc parameter?
2. How can I run emprereqkit with a parfile with my connection information?
