Sales Agreement vs Blanket Sales Agreement

Hi,

Product is R12.1.3

What is difference between 'Sales Agreement' and 'Blanket Sales Agreement' ? 

We need an agreement with a customer for both Items Prices and Quantities. We made setup and activated 'Sales Agreement' but there is no field / column for qauantites. Therefore, we were trying to setup 'Blanket Sales Agreement'.

We guess that in 'Blanket Sales Agreement' both (price and Quantity) columns are available. But during setup the 'Sales Document Type' LOV has only following  2 entries:

     - Sales Agreement

      - Sales Order

Did we miss something? How can we setup and use 'Blanket Sales Agreement'?

Please guide us to achieve the required target.
