Advice on getting OEM 12.1 to work with SCOM 2012.

We're about to deploy SCOM 2012 in our enterprise.  

The doc for the SCOM plugin shows support for SCOM 2007 pre-R2 and SCOM R2, nothing for 2012.

Oracle Support advised me that 2012 is not currently supported and they are unsure if/when it will be supported in the future.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get the plugin working with SCOM 2012.  Ideally I'd like some reference material (eg, a doc or blog link) to show how to do it, but anecdotal "success / failure" stories would be appreciated.
