10.2.0.5 instance fails with multiple interconnect networks using HAIP on 11.2.0.3 GI

When I add multiple private networks to the cluster for redundancy using HAIP in 11.2.0.3 GI my 10.2.0.5 database instances don't seem to be able to communicate causing one instance to be evicted.  Can 10.2.0.5 databases handle multiple private networks with Oracle HAIP or do I need to bond them on the OS?
