adding DB extensions for .NET

Hello,
I have an Oracle 10.2.0.4 standard edition instance running on Windows 2008 R2 64-bit o/s.  I want to add the ODE .NET components.  I've gone into the OUI and tried to add the components via the custom install but the .NET components are greyed out unless I include the full extended edition options.  Is there any way around the extended edition requirement.
