Run a Windows process from a task view

Hi.

In ERP8 menu definitions there was a radio button for Windows Application.  You entered the Path in one field and the object you wanted to run in the second field.  In this case they were running FTP scripts.  They still need to do this in 9.1 but we can't figure out how.  Has this capability been dropped somewhere with the move to the web?  Should we be able to use a URL task type and enter the complete URL including the object name or does this task type only call and display web pages?
