HAIP configuration, subnets and VLANs
We have deployed multiple RACs in our environment - few of them were setup with NIC bonding for the private interconnect (a while back) and more recent clusters are being setup using HAIP. I have two questions related to the HAIP configuration
1. We have been setting up two NICs (ex. eth2 and eth4) as part of the HAIP configuration and configuring the IP addresses for these NICs in the same subnet. I recently come across ID 1481481.1 which states that there could be an issue with this type of setup. So my question is if we use different subnets for eth2 and eth4, do they need to be setup on different private VLANs or can they be part of the same VLAN?
