Saved Query functionality in E1 9.0

Per Note 1096487.1 E1 9.0 contained several user interface enhancements, including the Saved Query feature.

We've noticed that using the "Clear" option doesn't clear all of the header fields, and seems to work differently in different applications.  Unfortunately, the in-depth explanation of each enhancement in Note 1096487.1 doesn't mention the "Clear" option at all.

Before I submit an SR, could someone please point me to the proper documentation for how the "Clear" option is supposed to work?
