opening ERPI export file will close our my IE broswer window

I exported the mapping files in the ERPI Data Load Mapping interface.  After you exported, you have the option to Open the file or Save the file.  If i choose to Open the file, it will always automatically close my window and log me out off Workspace. This only happens to my IE browser.  Have any of you experienced this?  is there any setting that i should adjust to avoid this?
