Back orders being automatically cancelled

Hi - I back-orders being automatically cancelled for one organization, but not the other.  Must be through a workflow, but not sure? We don't want the backorders cancelled for XYZ but we do for ABC.  So how do I allow back orders for XYZ to not be cancelled?
