Error 1111-Ending Date Before Starting Date

edited Jan 29, 2013 3:09AM in JDEdwards World (MOSC)
Q.  Attempting to enroll an employee into several DBAs using the ending date of 12/31/21 but get error 1111-Ending date Before Starting Date.  The starting date for this employee record is 01/01/2019.  This employee is a new hire and does not have any other enrollment.

A.  To avoid this error you have two options:

1.  Change the Default value in data item #CYR to be greater than 20 (most likely you have this currently set as 20).  The system currently reads the year you entered as 12/31/1921 since your default value is 20.

**Caution:  before changing this data item, please check with your IT department as this data item is being used for multiple products and not just payroll.  For more information, please see document ID
