Overriding Putaway suggested locator error

Hi SMEs

Someone can help me in the following issue would be appriciated

IWMS enabled org(11i), for an item the locator and subinventory assigned but no locator control at item level. Put away rule defined to get this as a default locator. User wants to change this default locator While droping. the system throws an error as

The task errored out while processing.  Do you want to continue with the next task?

If don't change the default locator, there is no error.
