Problems with ldmp2v

I'm having some problems with ldmp2v. I'm trying to move from a v880 physical box running Solaris 8,  to a T4-2 box LDOM.

When I run ldmp2v collect on the physical box, I get messages related to "metastat: not found".  From what I read, there should be no problem with Solaris 8 of any version with metadisk mirrors.  So to work around this, I edited the script so that the full pathname to metastat was used rather than just a path search (strange that every other command in the script uses a full path).  It seemed to fix the problem and the collection completed, however it may not be outputting the correct info.  I shouldn't have to edit the script, which makes me think
