T4-1 and HBA installation best practices

Hello all,I'm going to install a T4-1 from scratch. This T4-1 is going to be connected directly to an ST2540 array through an  8Gigabit/Sec PCI Express Dual FC HBA (SG-PCIEE2FC-QF8-Z)
Reading through the handbook I found out a suggestion to physically install this FC HBA in upper slots (3,4,5)
I'm not able to find a motherboard design doc or a complete diagram to try to try to understand the reason for this advice.

Can you let me know?
Is there any similar advices to install quad-ethernet UTP card?
