"Generate Field Service Trips" for future 60 days

Hi,  Could you please tell what's the harm if we generate the field services trips for all the resources using 'Generate Field Service Trips" for future 60 days. Will that impact anything. Also if we change the shift   for a resource in between, do we need delete the trips and recreate it..?..
