Best Practices on APPS password change

Hi All,

We currently do the password change on our production & its integrated system every 90 days during the weekly maintenance window.

On EBS, we bring only DB tier and change the password of All users including APPS using FNDCPASS and then update password on all other integration servers

Yesterday,After changing the password, we found the SM were throwing lots of erros  with lots of jobs in PENDING status

We got following errors in the log, We think that the password had $ sign at the end triggered this issue and changed back without $ sign and everything back to normal. Hoewver not sure why FNCPASS had accepted the $ sign while changing the password?

Howdy, Stranger!
