Create another new ledger and disable secondary ledger

Hi Gurus,

I've one new requirement in GL.

Currently for one of our client we have implemented General Ledger. And we have enabled secondary ledger even for reporting sake.But still client is insisting that there are facing issues while closing gl periods and even create accouting is generating for all entries related two OU's(we have two OU's in system).

Is it wise to have another ledger instead of secondary ledger for resolving this kind of issue. Problem is that transactional data and closing seems to be issue for our users.

Please advise in this regard.
