Mod () Formula for eText EFT Template not working in Application, but works fine with BI Template Vi

Hi,

I am creating an EFT template (rtf) and one of the bank required fields is a "Check Digit"  value that requires the modulus 10 function be applied to the bank transit number.  I have created the following formula, which works perfectly when I generate the output using BI template viewer, however when I upload the same template in the Payment Administrator and try to generate the EFT file by running a payment process request, the check digit field is not being populated and there is a "?" added to the beginning of my record row.  Here is the formula I am
