Copying Amortized Adj as Expense for Tax Books
Hello we are currently on 11i and have the following issue:
I see that there is a patch to add a new check box for Tax Books to copy amortized adjustments as expensed. We have been live for several years and would like to apply this patch and support has recommended use to apply, however they failed to answer one question and that is does this impact older assets copied over prior to the patch? Do we have to re-create a tax book or can we apply using our current tax books – this has amortized changes in at this time?
