Tools Upgrade

Hi,

We are planning to upgrade tools from 8.98.4.8 to 9.1.2.

I have gone through the document: 9_0_Required_Components_for_Installing_the_JD_Edwards_EnterpriseOne_Tools_912_rev2

While going through the document has raised some questions in my mind. I am putting them below for clarification

1.       What should be the order of steps for doing this upgrade? Tough I have done one Tools upgrade project from 8.98.3.4 to 8.98.4.8, still this time it seems to be a bit different, I am putting my understanding below please confirm:

 

a.       Install all required ESU before installing newer tools.

b.      Install the new Server Manager Installer in a new JDE_home path/Folder as 9.1.2 do not directly Upgrade from 8.98.x tools.
