E1: 31A: P31022 Production Cost Inquiry (F3102) explains the Production Cost Inquiry (P31022) based on the F3102. The Variance File (F3102) tracks variances by work order and provides information from a costing and cost variance perspective.   The F3102 is the source for variance journal entries (R31804).

This document explains how each named variance is created and calculated
