Run Control For RE Straightline Schedule Generation Does Not Always Save.

If the user adds a new run control for running the "Generate Straightline Schedule" process and the Business Unit is defaulted in from the Component.RE_FASB_RUNCNTL.GBL.RE_STLN_RUNCNTL.BUSINESS_UNIT.FieldDefault the record is not saved and the process runs to success but nothing is generated.
An edit on the page is not detected and therefore the new run control record is not saved. No error is given when running the RE_FASB_GEN process. Is this a problem with the page?
