Calendar Change due to Acquisition

.All:

We are running 11.5.10 and we have 11.5.

Our company is in the process of being aquired and the company acquiring us is a running on a Calendar year where as we are running on a Fiscal year November to October and a 4-4-5 calendar.  It has been brought up that from day one they would like for us to follow their calendar year.  A few questions:

1. What impliacations are involved if we change our current calendar to a non-4-4-5 calendar for the months that we can?
2. How do we handle November and December given that would have been our Fiscal year of 2014.
