how to automatically close deliveries with status = intransit

is there way for Delvieries where status = Intransit, to run a program to close those automatically.
In othere words , what is the process to get the deliveries closed automatically?

Scenario we have :

• Transaction has diff addresses for Ship to and Deliver To and Ultimate Ship To
• Grouping of Deliveries is also using Ultimate Ship To
• OTM is used to update delivery details before ship confirm and details are sent back to OTM after Ship Confirm.
