Credit check failure - release holds automatically after credit limit increased?

Credit check rules set at  sales order line
Exposure:
use precalculated checked
Include open receivables balance

Order booked with 7 order lines each with a value ot 5000 EUR
Line 1 and 2 already pick released successfully.
Remaining lines on hold due to exceeding credit limit.

Credit limit increased.
Initialise credit summaries run
Available balance now at 12,000 EUR
Pick release rerun
Lines not released from hold.

Should I expect the 2 reserved order lines to be released from hold at this point as the credit limit is not exceeded?

I've also tried using 'Credit check processor' but this only works if the lines are in booked status. My lines are in Awaiting shipping status.
