Question on AMM

Hello Experts,

   Has a basic question on AMM. As I was going through one of our 11GR2 databases, I found that the memory targets are still governed by SGA_MAX_SIZE & SGA_TARGET. I know, the DBA before me has recently upgraded this database from 10G.

  Can we still continue with these parameters or should we have to change them to MEMOERY_MAX_TARGET & MEMORY_TARGET. Request the experts to give some pros & cons of having the old parameters in 11G database.

   If we dont change these Memory parameters are there any troubles in terms of the database issues or from the Oracle support when there is a case raised by us related to Memory.
