We want to have pros and cons of having single budget across multiple fiscal years vs. one budget for each fiscal year.
single budget across multiple fiscal years:
Eg:
Budget Name: EXPENSES BUDGET
Period: Jan-13 to Dec-13. In the next fiscal year we use the same budget but change the end period to DEC-14. Like this for each next fiscal year we will change the ending period.
And also with one budget we need to be cautious of not positng budgets to previous fiscal year i.e., in FY14 not to post to FY13. And in all screens we need to change period defaults. And we can't freeze the budgets. But with fsg reports we dont need to create multiple reports.
