Need by Date on Min Max requisition

Hi,

I have following questions regarding Need by date on a purchase requisition created as a result of min max planning. We are on Oracle R12.

  1. How is Need by date calculated on purchase requisition created by Min Max. I've seen several hits indicating that SKU lead times are considered.
  2. When purchase requisition is created I see past due need by Dates on Requisition. Why is this? SKU lead times have not bee setup and hence NULL when this requisition is created.
  3. Does Oracle support any functionality wherein this value can be calculated from vendor lead times or some other DFF value.
