Too many Archive log generation

We are  facing  issue of too many archive logs generating in oracle database. Our application is running on this database, so some transaction will be there in the database. But per day 5 to 8 archive logs are getting generated .

Please  advise us  is there any parameter can we set for generating archive files

Any Help High Appreciated.
