401K limits in Vertex

I have a questin about 401K limits and whether the annual limit is held within the vertex tables?  It appears as though our set up stopped the pre-tax deduction of 401K once the EE met the annual limit of $17000 even though he is eligible for the catch up.  When I look at the DBA set up it appears as though we don't have the limits at the DBA, so if that is the case, how did OneWorld not calculate the deductions as pretax when he was then in the "catch up" time frame?
