mark up percentage

hi

 at the time of st ot orders  we keep the accounts recievable off at the time of sales update. it means the  branch plant from where the goods are send will not recieve any revenue or money.  so my question is that if, From B/Plant is not receiving any money then what is the use of keeping Mark Up percentage.
