IE 9 compatible with JDE E1 9.0 / 8.98 / 3 ?

Does anyone know if Internet Explorer 9.0 works with JDE E1 9.0 Tools Release 8.98 3?

A couple months ago we were in the process of upgrading our users computers and upgraded them from IE 8 to IE 9. Around this same time, our users started to get errors "internet is not responding" while working in JDE.

Until I hear back from someone, we will back down a couple users to IE 8 and see if they continue to receive the errors.
