Oracle 8i to 10g Crossplatform replication

Hi ,

I would like to replicate 8i database in HP box to 10g database in Linux .I need to migrate 8i to 10g multiple times in different environments as a work flow procedure in our company and it is taking almost 3days for Migration to Complete.I am looking for a replication process which can do the snapshots from 8i and replicate immediately in 10g.

I have seen some of the oracle communities asking to do Snapshot refresh using Materialized Views.Also found the below link but not sure whether it supports 8i to 10g.
