Print Immediate

For a workstation(a thin client), I need to send a report directly to printer instead of to a PDF. Is it possible ?
I tried 'Print Immediate' of Report Versions. But still I am confused about the option. The document NOTE:643238.1always talks about printer that connected to a server, not to a client.
In my situation, the end user will access the JDE using a web browser, and this PC will be connected to a printer.
Now, when user runs a report, it should directly go to printer.
How is this possible ?
