How to "enable" T10KC StorageTek Maximum Capacity?

Hi members

We are about to install T10KC tapedrives for use with Sam-FS and we are wondering about this:

"StorageTek Maximum Capacity

Maximum Capacity allows the use of tape capacity that is normally reserved to ensure tape-to-tape copy operations succeed. This can increase the capacity of a tape cartridge by 5-10%. The StorageTek T10000 Tape Drive Fibre Channel Reference Manual describes how to use this feature."

I can not find the Manual the quote is refering to so do any of you have any information about this? How can we make sure SAM-FS is writing up to 5.5TB for each tape? Is there a setting on the tapedrive we can change or?

Howdy, Stranger!
