Unable to add Business Component in Siebel Operation step in Task Editor

customer upgraded development environment from Siebel 7.8 to 8.1, patch 8.1.1.9. Follwoing issue is observed while trying to add Siebel Operations in Task. While trying to select the BC, none appears in the drop down list. Trying to write the name of the BC in the field we get the following errors:

Please continue or ask your systems administrator to check your application configuration if the problem persists.(SBL-DBC-00105)

ORA-01795: maximum number of expressions in a list is 1000

Able to replicate the issue in house with the following

1) Imported customer BO sif which have 580 BC’s. Created a task and added Siebel operation step and selected Bus Comp from properties window. No issue
