Re-start a database and the host

edited Jan 23, 2013 7:40AM in Database Administration (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered ✓
If I want to re-start a host server (Window2008) with Oracle 11g in it on a daily basis, it is safe I just schedule a restart on the Windows server and let OS handles the Oracle database.  Or, should I , to be safe, to  schedule a  'shutdown' sql script to run before I re-start the window host?

Thank you!
