Consignment Warehouse/Location
I'm looking for documentation and/or guidelines on Consignment management process.
My company has a consignment agreement with one of its customers and we currently send them products for the customer to keep in their warehouse and as the customer consumes these products, we then enter a sales order, ship confirm, invoice and update.
I'm debating between managing this by designating a location under our branch/plant for the products kept at the customer's warehouse vs. creating a separate branch/plant for the customer's warehouse. Which is the best practice?
