Hi all,

My global inventory ( oraInventory ) got corrupted. I tried to recreate it using this command.

./runInstaller -silent -attachHome -invPtrLoc $ORACLE_HOME/oraInst.loc ORACLE_HOME=./data1/E-BIZ/db/tech_st/10.2.0.ORACLE_HOME_NAME=.VIS105_DB__data1_E_BIZ_db_tech_st_10_2_0.

after executing this command iam getting the below error :

Starting Oracle Universal Installer...

No pre-requisite checks found in oraparam.ini, no system pre-requisite checks will be executed.
The inventory pointer is located at /data1/E-BIZ/db/tech_st/10.2.0/oraInst.loc
The inventory is located at /home/db/oraInventory
'AttachHome' failed.

Please help me on this issue.

Thanks,

Santhosh
